Check out Christina’s list of 10 favorite records at Industry of Cool

10) Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city

“Swimming Pools (Drank)” and “Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe” are my jamz when I’m feelin’ thuggy.

9) Lana Del Rey – Born To Die

I’ve been waiting for a girl to put out a record like this for a while. This is pop music for me. Love “Off To The Races” and “Lolita.”

8) Delta Spirit – Delta Spirit

I love “California.”

7) Beach House – Bloom

Every Beach House record has one stellar stand-out song for me, and on Bloom it’s “Other People.” So beautiful and real.

6) The Shins – Port Of Morrow

Once we heard “Simple Song” we knew this record would quickly become one of our favorites this year. We also covered it live on BBC Radio this summer.

5) Milo Greene – Milo Greene

A collection of super beautiful songs with seamless harmonies. I love “What’s The Matter” and “Cutty Love.”

4) White Arrows – Dry Land Is Not A Myth

I love every song on this record. “Coming or Going” and “Settle Down” and “Get Gone” are just a couple faves.

3) Good Old War – Come Back As Rain

We toured with these guys this year and so many of their songs have become staple warm up songs for us before shows, like “Loud Love”

2) Walk The Moon – Walk The Moon

“Iscariot” is our collective fave off this record.

1) Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – The Heist

This is my favorite record of 2012 fer shure. All the music on this album is far beyond anything else out right now. It is so much more than a guy rapping over some beats. “Thrift Shop” is obviously the breaker-inner, and the hook in “White Walls” is so sick.
